How to assess the embedment depth of an expansion/friction type anchor into a concrete grout filled masonry block pier? The anchor reaction is tension and shear. Masonry 50mm thick. A recent failure had the anchor embedment depth within the masonry and pulled the masonry away from the grout. The anchor didn't fail. With a dee...

It looks like only solid blocks or hollow blocks are available

When I selected an 8 anchor arrangement I get a warning staying Anchor arrangement is not covered by Eurocode 2-4. Please select design method Hilti SOFA. However when I go to the design method selection panel on the left there is no Hilti SOFA there to select. There is just two options, EN 1192-4 based and ETAG based. Not su...

When applying the load type fatigue design on the HILTI PROFIS software I get the message There is no anchor available for this kind of application.. What conditions need to be met for this loading type to have solutions? I have attached the scenario I am talking about.

Hi, I am looking for an Injectable Anchor System that has a High Heat Resistance, Upwards of 300°, Does Hilti have an Adhesive system that could potential meet my needs? My Anchors will be set in Reinforced Concrete that is in really bad shape, Due to High Pressure Steam. Thank you,

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to use the HILTI anchor design with two threaded rods of different lengths.

Which of your chemical anchor bolt products are C2 anchor systems

I have a contractor who has drilled a series of 22mm diameter holes into concrete slab, but I have specified 16mm diameter anchors (HIT-Z specifically in this case). Will there be any effects on the strength of the anchors if the 16mm anchor is chemically embedded in the oversized hole (presuming otherwise installed OK)?

I'm designing HAS-U M24 8.8 anchor bolts and based on the design will require 480mm embedment but Profis Engineering noted that is it a non standard item and to contact Hilti to check feasibility of supply. Are you able to supply this non standard length anchor?

We have an exiting floor consisting of a 65mm topping over 200 Dycore floor that we want to create 100mm and 150mm high concrete nibs on. Given that these nibs run in both directions the fixing into the topping plus Dycore may only be into 85mm of concrete over a core. What is the best anchor that will allow for an extension ...
