I have a contractor who has drilled a series of 22mm diameter holes into concrete slab, but I have specified 16mm diameter anchors (HIT-Z specifically in this case). Will there be any effects on the strength of the anchors if the 16mm anchor is chemically embedded in the oversized hole (presuming otherwise installed OK)?

I believe you have been contacted by one of our Field Engineers for this query, however, as this is a recurrent question, I will comment below.
The anchors will experience a reduction in bond strength and likely fail if installed in an oversized hole. Therefore, it is not our recommendation to proceed with it.
