  1. Can steel U or J bar (pre-installed) instead of Hilti's anchor bar to be adopted in this software. 2. can this software also include the post install steel bar to join new suspended slab to existing slab. I understood that the old software does
concrete to concrete,cast in-situ

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your question.

For concrete-to-concrete connections, we advise using Hilti's software called Profis Rebar, as it follows the Rebar Theory as per EN1992-1, instead of Profis Engineering, as it follows the anchor theory and is more applicable to steel-to-concrete connections.
