Is there an anchor suitable to use in a 100mm thickness concrete slab?
Need to fix commercial washing machines to the slab

Hi Tim,
Yes, it is possible to fix into a 100 mm thick concrete slab, but anchor selection needs to be done carefully.
Both HST4 and HUS4 anchors can be suitable for use in a 100 mm slab when designed with reduced embedment depths. However, whether they are appropriate for your application depends on several project‑specific details. To provide a safe and compliant anchor recommendation, we would need a bit more information, such as:
- Applied loads (tension, shear, or combined)
- Load type (static, seismic, fatigue / vibration)
- Edge distances and anchor spacing
- Concrete strength and condition (e.g. cracked or uncracked)
- Fixture thickness
Once these details are known, we can confirm the most suitable anchor type and size, and verify the design accordingly.
Feel free to share the above information and we’ll be happy to help further.
Best Regards,
Suman
