Cannot use HIT-RE 500 + HAS option for seismic load.

Hi Team,
Could you help me check this case? When I change the load from static to seismic, the HIT-RE 500 + HAS option became unavailable and I has to use HIT-RE 500 + HAS Meter (NEW). I think the only difference between them is the anchor grade, 5.8 vs 8.8. I can't see any reason why it can affect the connection capacity and why I can't use 5.8 grade anchor.

Hi Bob,

Thank you for your question.

The main reason is that Seismic C2 refers to performance grade 8.8 (as mentioned on page 12 of the ETA document), and the tests for Seismic C2 do not include grade 5.8. For detailed information on the essential characteristics in C2, please refer to pages 62 and 63 of the ETA.
